We have driven past Butterfly Wonderland multiple times and have been wanting to go for over a year. Ian’s sister was in town and as it was a rainy day we figured it would be the perfect time to check it out. I was actually super surprised at how nice it was, it’s much more impressive than it appears from the outside. We started off with a 3D movie which was really interesting, we sat by the door just in case Kennedy didn’t like it or if it was too loud, etc. but it ended up being great and she was really interested in all the sounds/bright lights. Make sure to dress in layers if you check it out because we were sweating! It was so humid in there for the butterflies to be able to thrive and I had wished I had dressed in something a bit cooler. There are also birds and a koi fish pond. After the conservatory, you can view insects in action and view the small aquarium before exiting through the gift shop.
